10-year old California boy significantly injured by pellet gun

A 10-year old boy was shot with a pellet gun in Fresno, California, sustaining "significant" injury.

There was no word on the shooter.

From an article:

Fresno County sheriff’s Lt. John Reynolds says the boy was injured near Hidden Hollow Lane and Quail Mountain Lane around 4pm Friday.
Reynolds says he was treated at the scene and then airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno.
KFSN-TV reported that the boy suffered a significant injury, but authorities did not immediately release his name and condition.

Pellet guns aren't harmless toys.
