13-year old Florida boy accidentally fires stolen gun

A 13-year old boy in Riviera Beach, Florida, accidentally fired a gun that had dropped from his waistband.  It was found that the gun had been stolen last November.

From an article:
The gun had been reported stolen last November in St. Lucie County, police said.
Police responded to a call that shots were fired in the 900 block of North 23rd St. and found the 13-year-old matching the description of the shooting suspect.
The police report said the boy appeared to be hiding something in his waistband and tried giving the gun to another person. That is when the gun dropped and fired a single shot.
No one was injured in the incident.
Police have charged the 13 year-old with carrying a concealed firearm, grand theft and illegal possession of a firearm by a juvenile.
