4-year old Michigan girl shot in crossfire

Miyoma Alexander, age 4

4-year old Miyoma Alexander was riding with her mother in Saginaw, Michigan, when they were crashed into.  Two SUV's were speeding through town in a running shootout when one of them crashed into Miyoma's vehicle.  The men got out of their vehicles and continued firing.  Young Miyoma was hit in the arm, fracturing it.

"She asks why did they shoot me?" her mother, Brenda Brown asks in an ABC12 interview. "I didn't have an answer."

Miyoma Alexander, 4, was shot by an unknown gunman who police believe was targeting the occupants of another vehicle at the intersection of Sheridan and Webber. 

Police said they have an idea of who is responsible for the shooting, but no arrests have been made yet.  

"They shot me," Alexander told WNEM TV5 during an interview, pointing to where the bullet hit her arm under a Peanuts cartoon sling she was wearing in the hospital. 

Brown said her daughter is in stable condition.

Bullets don't know when to stop.
