14-year old boy shot unintentionally by 13-year old boy in Alabama home

Two boys were in a home in Colbert County, Alabama, handling an unsecured, loaded .22 rifle.  The 13-year old boy unintentionally shot the 14-year old boy in the neck.   The older boy is currently in the hospital.

From an article:
Sheriff Ronnie May says the teen was shot by a 13 year old boy.

It happened at a home on Hatton School Road just after 9 o'clock Sunday night.

We're told the victim was hit in the neck with a bullet from a .22 caliber rifle.

He's being treated at Helen Keller Hospital.
Every gun in the hands of a child must first pass through the hands of an adult.
